The ideal situation when producing custom dog portraits is to work with a live model. Dog portrait work involves choosing a pose or posture, measuring, photographing, and sculpting. It is possible to create a figure without a model present. I will ask for as many photographs as possible to develop the work.
The standard dog portrait life-size.
Dog portraits start at $1,200 in clay and $3,000 in bronze. Pricing varies based on size of portrait and materials used.
Dogs are always welcome to visit my studio or gallery in Portland, or I am happy to travel to complete a piece provided that travel expenses are paid.
